Electric thermal mugs take thermal mugs one step further.  Not only are they insulated, usually with double walled vacuum construction, they heat your coffee (or other beverage).  The most elaborate models come with their own temperature gage.  Electric thermal mugs usually plug into your 12 volt car adaptor, making them great for a long commute, or for owners of motor homes.  Other models are available that plug directly into your computer USB port, great for the office, although USB electric thermal mugs do not heat as well as the 12 volt models due to the reduced power supply that a USB port supplies.  Below is a selection of electric thermal mugs.
